Windows Vulnerabilities in 2020

On 14th January 2020, Microsoft released a patch for 49 vulnerabilities which included CVE-2020-0601, CVE-2020-0603, CVE-2020-0605 and more. The affected operating systems were Windows Server 2016, Server 2019 and Windows 10.

CVE-2020-0609 & CVE-2020-0610 affected all server versions and the purpose of the patch is to protect Remote Desktop users from being affected by attackers. This patch helps keep it a lot more secure and stops crafty requests to be sent over RDP to delete data, install software and create new users.

The vulnerability of CVE-2020-0640 was patched also which has to do with memory corruption within Internet Explorer's web browser handles objects. With this memory, you are able to gain the ability to corrupt the PC and gain the ability to execute arbitrary code.
